Okay I need to tell you something. I spent an embarrassing amount of time down a TikTok crockpot rabbit hole so you wouldn’t have to.
I saved videos. I watched every Crack Chicken variation known to mankind. I found the creators who are genuinely building community around dump-and-go crockpot dinners and I compiled every recipe worth making into one list.
Twenty-one of them. All truly dump-and-go — nothing here asks you to brown meat first, or sauté anything, or do a single thing that makes it feel like cooking. You put it in the crockpot. You leave. Dinner exists when you come back.
I’m Anne. I’m 27. And if you want to understand the basic crockpot meal prep system before diving into all 21, I already wrote a full beginner’s guide to crockpot meal prep here. Otherwise — let’s get into it.
Crock-Pot 7-Quart Programmable Slow Cooker
The 7-quart oval shape fits whole chicken breasts, large batches, and the bigger recipes on this list without crowding. Programmable so it switches to warm when done — perfect for the “gone all day” approach.
Reynolds Kitchens Slow Cooker Liners (30-pack)
The single best hack for dump-and-go crockpot cooking. You slip one in before adding ingredients and the crockpot never actually gets dirty. Lift, tie, throw away. Zero scrubbing. Genuinely life-changing for this style of cooking.
Glass meal prep containers — set of 7
Saucy crockpot meals stain plastic and absorb odors fast. Glass containers hold up perfectly, reheat evenly, and are worth buying once vs. replacing every semester.
Add a slow cooker liner before you do anything. Every single recipe. It takes 10 seconds and saves you 20 minutes of soaking a cooked-on crockpot later. This is the tip nobody puts at the front of these posts and I’m always annoyed about it.
If you’re new to crockpot meal prep, start here. Crack Chicken is the one recipe that has converted more people to the crockpot life than anything else. The name is the whole explanation — it’s addicting. And it has at least four different forms you need to know about.
Crockpot Crack Chicken
The OG. The one that started all of it. Chicken breasts with ranch seasoning, cream cheese melted in at the end, topped with shredded cheddar and crispy bacon. Shred the chicken, stir it all together, and you have the most addicting chicken mixture that goes on literally everything — sandwiches, rice, pasta, baked potatoes.
Crock Pot Jalapeño Crack Chicken Sandwiches
The spicy sister of the original. All the same crack chicken energy but with pickled jalapeños in the crockpot and fresh sliced jalapeños on top. Build it on a toasted bun with the crispy bacon and optional fresh jalapeño. Luke said “if you can handle the heat” — take that as a challenge or a warning depending on your tolerance.
Crockpot Crack Chicken Pasta
Take the crack chicken base and toss in cooked pasta at the end. Creamy ranch-cheese sauce + shredded chicken + pasta = one of the most comforting crockpot meals you will ever make. The pasta absorbs the sauce as it sits, which honestly makes it even better the next day.
Crockpot Crack Chicken Sandwiches
@macy.blackwell’s take on crack chicken sandwiches has a different energy from Luke’s — a little less spicy, more focused on the bacon and cheddar combo. Same dump-and-go base, toasted buns, crispy bacon on top. Two versions of the same dish that are worth having in rotation because the flavors genuinely land differently.
If Crack Chicken is the comfort food king, Marry Me Chicken is the impress-yourself king. Creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, parmesan, and herbs. The crockpot version takes 5 minutes of actual prep and comes out tasting like something from a restaurant you’d save for a special occasion.
Crockpot Marry Me Chicken
Chicken tenderloins + heavy cream + parmesan + sun-dried tomatoes + Italian seasoning + paprika, all dumped into the crockpot. Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes. The sauce is so good people literally lick the spoon. You put it in the crockpot at 9am and come home to a dinner that makes you feel like an actual adult.

Viral Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Orzo
The marry me chicken sauce but with orzo pasta added in the last 30 minutes so everything finishes together. No separate pot of pasta, no extra dishes — the orzo soaks up the sauce and becomes genuinely the best thing you’ve made in a crockpot. This one is everywhere on TikTok right now.

Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup
Six ingredients. Five minutes. The most meal-prep-friendly soup on this list — it’s smoky, shredded-chicken, chunky, and holds up perfectly all week. Top with chips, sour cream, cheese, and avocado and it genuinely tastes like something you ordered.

Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Chicken & Potatoes
Buffalo Wild Wings garlic parmesan sauce is the secret ingredient. Chicken breasts + baby potatoes + the BWW bottle + seasoning. Everything slow cooks together and comes out savory, garlicky, and coated in that sauce. The potatoes absorb the flavour and become genuinely addicting.

Crockpot Chicken Pot Pie (Dump & Go)
All the flavors of chicken pot pie — cream of chicken, frozen mixed veggies, chicken broth, seasonings — without any of the pie work. The biscuit or puff pastry goes on top in the last 20 minutes if you want the classic look, or just serve the filling over rice. Both are excellent.

4-Ingredient Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken
The @bugsyandcompany original that got re-created hundreds of thousands of times. Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan sauce + cream of chicken soup + chicken breasts + that’s mostly it. Creamy, garlicky, rich — serve over rice or pasta and you’re genuinely done. This is the recipe that proves four ingredients can make something genuinely impressive.

Crockpot Chicken Philly Cheesesteak
Chicken thighs, bell peppers, onions, Italian seasoning, all slow cooked until fall-apart tender. Serve on toasted hoagie rolls with melted provolone. @bugsyandcompany also noted it’s amazing served over a baked potato or pasta, which — true. This is one of those crockpot dinners that makes your apartment smell genuinely incredible all day.

Crockpot Stick of Butter Chicken and Rice
One full stick of butter, chicken breasts, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and uncooked rice. Everything goes in together and the rice cooks right in the crockpot in the last hour. This is the definition of a “stick of butter makes everything better” situation. Rich, cozy, and genuinely requires zero thought to make.

Crockpot Chicken Cobbler
This one broke TikTok when it came out. Chicken + cream of chicken soup + chicken broth in the crockpot, and then a box of Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuit mix on top in the last 30-45 minutes to form a biscuit crust. The biscuit cooks into the chicken mixture and forms this cheesy, buttery top layer that is genuinely outstanding.

Crockpot Glazed Chicken with Brothy Rice
@moribyan’s version uses a buldak carbonara-inspired sauce — creamy, slightly spicy, glossy glazed chicken over brothy rice. It’s one of the more unique recipes on this list flavor-wise. The sauce is a soy-butter-gochujang combo that coats the chicken in a sticky glaze, and the rice cooks right in the broth underneath. High visual payoff.

4 Ingredient Crockpot Chicken
The simplest @bugsyandcompany recipe and possibly the most versatile. Chicken breasts + a bottle of sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s is the classic) + cream of chicken + cream cheese. Two minutes, four ingredients, shred and serve over anything. This is the recipe you make when you can’t even look at a recipe.

Crockpot Olive Garden Italian Chicken Pasta
Italian dressing mix + cream cheese + parmesan + chicken breasts slow cooked together, then tossed with pasta at the end. The flavors taste like an Olive Garden pasta dish that is somehow both easier to make and more satisfying to eat. This one genuinely shocked me the first time I made it.

Crockpot Chicken Tortellini
Chicken breast in a creamy garlic-parmesan broth, with refrigerated or frozen tortellini added in the last 30-40 minutes so they cook right in the sauce. Creamy, filling, and looks like way more work than it is. This is a very good “I have almost nothing in the fridge” dinner because the tortellini does most of the heavy lifting flavor-wise.

Crock Pot Steak Bites & Potatoes
Sirloin steak cut into bites + baby potatoes + butter + garlic + beef broth + Worcestershire sauce. Everything cooks together in one pot. The steak gets tender, the potatoes soak up all the butter-garlic-beef broth, and the result tastes like a proper sit-down dinner that took a fraction of the effort.

Crockpot Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli
Flank steak or beef in Kikkoman teriyaki sauce + a little garlic + sesame oil, slow cooked until the beef is fall-apart tender. Add broccoli in the last 30-40 minutes so it stays bright and doesn’t go mushy. Serve over rice. This is a dead-on takeout dupe that comes out of a crockpot.

Crockpot Salisbury Steak Meatballs
Literally frozen meatballs + jarred beef gravy + cream of mushroom soup + a splash of Worcestershire. Dump and walk away. Six hours later you have a rich, savory gravy-smothered meatball situation that is genuinely outstanding over mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Two minutes. Frozen meatballs. This is what zero energy actually looks like.

Crockpot Cheeseburger Helper
Ground beef + noodles + cream of mushroom + beef broth + shredded cheese. This is the “grown-up” version of Hamburger Helper that you make in a crockpot and somehow tastes better than both the original and any homemade version you’ve attempted before. It’s the sleeper recipe on this whole list — looks the least glamorous, tastes the most comforting.

When a discover link is used, search the recipe name + creator handle directly on TikTok to find the original video. Always verify before publishing a specific video link.
Use a slow cooker liner every single time. Especially for anything with cream cheese, sauce, or cheese that can bake onto the sides. Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners cost around $5 for 4 and make cleanup literally a matter of lifting a bag. It is the single best crockpot habit you can build. Find them on Amazon →
